About the Fund

The purpose of the scholarship fund is to provide support, encouragement and scholarships monies to help students other than tuition costs.

Scholarships are offered to deserving high school graduating seniors who plan to further their education.

Scholarships are offered to students accepted at a four-year college; the preferred student is one who is pursuing an education in some aspect of business although all graduating seniors are welcome to apply.

The mission of the scholarship fund committee is to continue to support the vision of Ms. Benekin by processing scholarship awards for the students and institutions with limited funds, promising $1,000 scholarships for the first semester of freshman year; we will also extend her vision to include subsequent year awards for students continuing their education.

The minimum award is $1,000 which can be increased by amount and years extended at the discretion of the board of directors.
